Everything In Its Right Place
So, It’s been a while. Last time I posted, it was the night before my wedding. I’m happy to say that the day of the ceremony went exactly as planned, and we’re officially married. Hurray for me.

So it’s been a few weeks, and I’d say that we’re still not totally settled. It’s tough being in a place of buying all new things, returning doubles, and sorting through all the old stuff you had; which turns out to also be too much stuff.
However, It has also been very exciting and gratifying. We knew what we were getting into, and we love this stage of life that we’re in. I’ve noticed this slightly more “grown up” feeling in both of us, as we observe our friends and family in their relationships. It’s strange to think of ourselves as “the old married couple” of our group of friends, but that’s what we’ve become. We’re in the circle as support to our friends that are in dating (and even engaged) relationships. It’s been fun to watch our friends grow, but it’s been equally disheartening when our friends don’t get something, and we seem to be able to see their selfishness for what it really is. Sure, we also have a lot to learn, but we’re very confident in the love we have for each other, and the way that we grow together.
Anyway, I suppose there’s a whole lot to talk about; the Student Center at Mariners that just opened up, our settling of the apartment, or even (for me) the new World of Warcraft patch, but I don’t have a ton to say right now. I had every intention to blog this afternoon, but then I went to the gym with my dad, and had lunch with him and my sister, so that took not only the afternoon away from me, but the muse as well. I was kind of hoping that if I listened to Radiohead a little bit I might get it back.
It turns out that it’s just made me a little sleepy.
Listened to: The National Anthem from the album “Kid A” by Radiohead
