What’s he building in there?

So, it’s been a long time coming, but I finally landed on a theme/customization of my blog.

Let me show you what’s under the hood:

The theme/framework that’s holding this blog together is Thesis. But sitting on top of that is a theme customization made specifically for Thesis called “Pwned“.

Here’s a screenshot of Pwned (next to mine):

As you can see, there are quite a few design elements of Pwned that are great, and I’m using them. However, there were a ton of things that I just couldn’t stand for. Out of the box I didn’t like the color scheme, didn’t care for the typography, and really hated the header color/style. So, with a little help from my friend CSSEdit, I got into the design and started breaking fixing things, and here we are today.

I’m thoroughly happy with the way things turned out (BTW, if you just happen to come across this blog in Safari, check out the text shadowing ;) ), and am happy to say that my designing trigger finger will finally back off.

Of course, I’m sure I’ll run into a few hiccups along the way that will require minor adjustments, but for now, WYSIWYG!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention, my blog is also an official Sub-10 Website :)

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
